Sun and shadows

Very bright sun this morning as I walked to the station, so I paused for a couple of snapshots:

When I arrived at work there was single bunch of flowers tied to a post: a reminder of Mary Hansen, who died in the square a year ago.

After her death, the flowers stayed taped to posts and poles for months until they were dead and brown. Now just one single fresh bunch is there.
