Weekend golds

This is all a bit early for me on a Saturday morning :o)
Got to make it over to Finsbury for 10am - London region Liberal Democrat conference. Is it worth missing a lie-in for? Actually, yes - some useful looking training events, quite apart from anything else. Just a bit of a slog to get there.
Can't make the Nosferatu event at Page's because of it though - not a great problem really as no-one I know seems to be going this month, but I haven't been to one for over a year now.
Finished Jeremy Paxman's book on politicians last night - his basic conclusion was 'Why do they bother?'
Much to say about this, little of it positive. Will give it some thought during the conference.
